New Brand and Website Launch

The Peninsula Community Foundation (PCF) was first launched in 2001 by a group of Peninsula neighborhood residents who wanted to do more to help others in the Lake Norman area. We’re excited to celebrate this momentous anniversary with you by revealing the new look and feel of the PCF.

new PCF logo

Our new logo gives homage to the Peninsula Golf and Yacht Clubs. The two flags wave in a unified, forward direction. As neighbors, we know that we are stronger together and these flags will be a constant reminder of our unity.

Our mission statement remains the same: “The mission of the Peninsula Community Foundation is to support and empower the work of nonprofit organizations in the Lake Norman area by providing financial resources and assistance.”

We’re thrilled to continue this unique mission with our neighbors. A new tagline will answer the question, “What do you do?” in four clear words:

Uniting a generous community.

The Peninsula Community has generous neighbors who want to help others. Generosity is what makes our community so special. We are inviting the entire community to join us. We invite you to take your first step in PCF involvement by signing up for our newsletter. We'll send you stories of hope and new opportunities to help others.

Our new tagline is at the forefront of our new website. Moving forward, we'll begin to use the URL YourPCF.org.

The new PCF website is adaptive to mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. On the home page, we’ll constantly update upcoming opportunities to serve the Lake Norman area. You can find ways to get involved with our partners, too. Click on their logo on the home page and discover more about each of our nonprofit partners.

In the next twenty years, we want to serve our nonprofit partners better than ever before. We know this new look and feel is a big step to support and represent them in more meaningful ways.

PCF is committed to helping local nonprofit organizations develop and expand not only through direct financial contributions but with their entire mission. We work alongside them to increase marketing and PR, improve fundraising efforts, enhance volunteer recruitment, expand their presence in the community and improve their strategic planning and corporate governance. Our recipient organizations benefit not only from our financial contribution, but from the direct involvement of PCF Board Members, neighbors, and volunteers in the Peninsula and Cornelius community. PCF is uniting a generous community. Take your first step in joining this community and help the Peninsula be stronger together as we empower the work of nonprofit organizations.
